First, I have to say Rest in Peace to Tina Turner! Her movie and song, “What’s Love Go To Do With It” was instrumental in showing the complexities of a domestic violence relationship.  I’m proud of her for revealing her truth and being brave enough to share her story. 

In today’s episode of the Go Girl podcast, I honor Tina Turner and share the impact her music has made on my life.

I also started a series on TikTok called Toxic Throwback Thursday where I explain how some music from the past has shaped our perception of love today. Listen in as I discuss an artist who made a lot of toxic music, lol, and I also give my thoughts about another singer who kept going back to an emotionally unavailable man.
